Alliance Medical Education Scholarship Fund (AMES)

The scholarship fund was established by the Pennsylvania Medical Society Alliance which is comprised of physician spouses. The organization started the program to help medical students pursuing a degree program in a Pennsylvania medical school. The aforementioned organization functions as a part of the federation of county medical alliances. Set up in April 2000, the fund provides financial support to current year, second year and third year medical students of Pennsylvania. To be eligible to receive this scholarship, students must be pursuing a full time medical degree program from a medical school in Pennsylvania. The award money for this scholarship is $2,500.
